This Anon Eclectic website provides services to you subject to the following Terms of Use, which may be amended by us from time to time with no notice to you. When using any Anon Eclectic service you are also subject to any rules or guidelines which may be posted, or emailed from time to time. All such rules or guidelines are hereby incorporated by reference into the Terms of Use.

Your continued use of the Website constitutes an affirmative, acknowledgement and agreement by you that you accept and agree to abide and be bound by these Terms of Use and any amendments.

These Terms of Use will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, that clause will be severed from these Terms of Use and such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the Terms of Use which will continue in full force and effect.

For the purpose of these Terms of Use, “Content” means material such as text, software, images, audio and video, including links to that material.

All candles are hand poured in Melbourne and will vary slightly.

Many vessels are re-purposed and will bear the marks of their previous incarnation including but not limited to, nicks, dents, scratches. This is part of the idea behind Anon Eclectic. The online store will include information whether the item is new or re-purposed in the description.

Anon Eclectic attempts to be as accurate as possible in the description of products however, does not warrant that product descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

Shipping Information

Free Standard Shipping on orders over $100*

We offer FREE STANDARD SHIPPING on metropolitan orders of $100* or more.
*Very sorry but this offer does not apply to distant or remote rural areas.

Goods will be shipped using Australia Post.

We professionally package all of our gorgeous product in sturdy boxes. You can also add gift wrap and card with a customised message free of charge by simply adding your message to the comments box at checkout.

Unless the vessel is already filled with wax, you will select your scent and wick type. Once the order is processed through the secure checkout and payment is received, your customised candle will be poured and cooled completely before shipping. This process takes between 1 - 2 days before it can be shipped.

If you are not at home when Australia post delivers, a card will be left in your mail box to notify you that it is ready for collection.

Delivery timelines: (after customisation of your Candle)

Standard: 3 - 6 business days

Anon Eclectic cannot be responsible for any delivery delays after the order has been dispatched or due to any circumstances beyond our control.

Refills

Anon Eclectic was built on the idea that candles should not be disposable and so we offer a refilling service.

To make your candle truly sustainable, send it back to be replenished. Your original candle will arrive in a sturdy box which will contain a REFILL slip which includes the size of the vessel you purchased. This will indicate what size refill you need to purchase.

It is best to keep the original box it arrived in as it is sturdy and protects your precious cargo in transit.

Your refill is customised the same way the original candle was so you will be prompted to select your fragrance and wick type in the shopping cart.

We recommend you use a tracking system as Anon Eclectic is unfortunately not liable if your package is lost in transit.

At checkout the postage of your refilled candle is charged by volume and up to a maximum of $12.00*

Exchanges

Anon Eclectic does not issue refunds unless required by law.

Anon Eclectic Products which are re-purposed will often bear nicks, dents, scratches, tarnish and other signs of their previous life. These are part of the charm and not regarded as faults.

Exchanges for other items of the same value (less shipping costs) can be made within 30 days of receiving the goods and must be returned unused and in the original packaging. Please request a Returns Request by emailing us at info@anoneclectic.com or by completing a “contact us” form on this website.

You are responsible for the costs of returning goods to us. Any goods returned are your responsibility until they reach our PO Box and we strongly recommend that any returned items have a tracking number. Anon Eclectic is not responsible for any items that go missing or lost on their return to us.

Once the item has been received by us you will be contacted with your credit approval code to use at the checkout for your new item.

Safety

We want you to enjoy using your beautiful candle however, there are always risks associated with a naked flame and the burning of any candle so please use awareness of associated risks and enjoy your Anon Eclectic candle ensuring you following these safety precautions.

  • Never leave a lit candle unattended.

  • Never allow the flame to make contact with the edge of the vessel.

  • Never burn all the way to the bottom and always stop using when there is at least 10 mm of un-melted wax at the bottom of the vessel. Burning to the bottom may cause the vessel to crack.

  • Only burn on a heat resistant surface and never move the candle when there is hot melted wax as the container will be hot and result in burns to the skin and spillage.

  • Because Anon Eclectic candles are soy wax, you must allow the melt pool to reach the edge of the glass on each burn to prevent “tunnelling”. This requires you to burn the candle for at least an hour each time.

  • Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time to avoid overheating.

  • Never introduce liquids or other objects to the container.

  • Never burn near flammable objects such as curtains or fabric.

  • Keep away from pets and children.

  • Ensure the wick is trimmed to 6 or 7 mm each time it is used to ensure the flame does not become to large and to avoid the build up of soot on the vessel which can be unsightly as well as dangerous.

  • Candles with more than one wick must all be lit and never be burned individually.

  • Always extinguish the candle properly
